As to whether we’re going to see remakes of the other classic Tomb Raider titles, we can’t answer for sure, but it’s been emphasized by Crystal Dynamics time and again that they are re-strategizing to maximize the Lara Croft and Tomb Raider IP — that is, by means of having alternate releases for the downloadable Lara Croft co-op games and the main series.

So instead of remakes as in-between games (i.e. Anniversary after Legend, before Underworld), expect to get used to the well-received control scheme of the new-era Lara Croft side-series. Do watch out for the imminent reveal of the new Tomb Raider game though — it might give as much nostalgia as Anniversary did for you, you never know!
